$30.89 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
How This Role Works
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures at public sector facilities, including monitoring access points and following established entry and exit protocols.
- Verify identification, credentials, badges, and/or visitor records before allowing access to restricted and/or controlled areas, and document activity in required logs and reports.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns by observing entrances, lobbies, screening areas, and/or perimeter access locations for irregular activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter when assigned, noting access control issues, doors left unsecured, and/or other security-related conditions.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
