How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $24.68 / Hour
• Job Schedule: DayTime, Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entry, maintaining access logs, and communicating entry requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, inspections, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• A primarily driving post is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
