Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help control entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorization, and report unusual activity to site contacts.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns.
- Document visitor activity, incidents, and/or daily observations in required logs or reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
