Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Control vehicle and pedestrian access, document deliveries and visitor activity, and communicate access requirements to employees, contractors, and guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gates, and perimeter, noting access control concerns and other security-related conditions.
Minimum Requirements
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
