About the role
As a Security Officer – Electronic Entry Systems in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. In this Access Control Officer role, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm panels, and support badge access processes while maintaining a visible presence, deterring security-related incidents, and providing professional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry processes, and document access-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitors, deliveries, incidents, and security-related activities while supporting a professional environment at the location.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Thursday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
