About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location in Longwood, FL, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm and badge activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Through professional communication, routine site awareness, and a customer-focused approach, you will help deter incidents while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive dealership or related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, vehicle areas, service lanes, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.

$18.00 / Hour
