About the Role

As a Part‑Time Unarmed Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in commercial‑real‑estate and other industries. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, support access‑control activities, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with site‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access‑control and badge experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21 + years for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.25 per hour.

Schedule

• Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
