Job Description
As a Security Officer Driving Role with Active Clearance in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - DayTime: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and/or observe entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols for a professional unarmed patrol post.
- Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, employees, and/or first responders during routine activities, inspections, and incident response situations.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
