Security Officer Driving Role with Active Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and note operational issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or shipments, verifying credentials and following post orders related to access control and property movement.
  • Support loss prevention and security-related operations by observing trailer yards, freight staging areas, and high-traffic zones, and communicating changes in conditions or policy concerns as needed.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
