Security Officer Patrol Driver with Active Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related duties within a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow post orders for restricted areas, deliveries, and after-hours access.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and shift activity records, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to the appropriate site representatives.

Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
