What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions that could impact utility operations or access control.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access, identify maintenance or security-related concerns, and document observations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support access management for employees, vendors, and/or authorized visitors at the location.
• Assist with incident documentation, communication with site contacts, and follow-up on security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
