About the role
As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Archbald, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious conditions.
- Monitor entry points, check credentials, and verify visitor and/or contractor access in accordance with site protocols for a highly regulated aerospace and defense location.
- Support access control, asset protection, and other security-related operations while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across indoor and outdoor work areas.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
