What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations, remaining alert to unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or potential hazards common to an industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment zones, and/or controlled sections of the property.
- Support site operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and/or first responders during routine activity and incident response.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
