Security Officer - Driving Role Patrol Watch

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, helping to monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, a visible presence, and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, helping to control access for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and by assisting with security-related inquiries in a professional manner.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
