About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and/or report potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policy, and help support authorized access procedures for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.
- Communicate with supervisors, site representatives, and fellow team members regarding daily activity, incident updates, and changing conditions that may affect security-related operations.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
