What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and document access activity in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to restricted areas and potential security-related concerns common to a chemical and petrochemical environment.
- Support badge and key control processes, maintain accurate logs and reports, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent observation and professional presence.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
