Security Officer - Driving Role

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location in Sugar Grove, IL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use sound judgment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and storage areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$23.00 / hour
Schedule
- Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
