As a Security Officer Driving Role Responder in Bolingbrook, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.

This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring strong customer service, communication, and teamwork while supporting daily operations with integrity in a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

Position Type: Full Time, Pay Rate: $18.24 / Hour, Valid Driver's License for 1+Years Required. Job Schedule: DayTime, Tue 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM, Wed 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM, Thur 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM, Fri 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including trailer yards, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and deliveries, and report unusual activity, damaged equipment, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support logistics and distribution operations by maintaining a visible presence, documenting incidents and/or daily activities, and following post orders for assigned areas.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
