Security Officer - Driving Patrols
About the role
As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity in accordance with site expectations.
- Carry out regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and report security-related concerns.
- Maintain access points and high-traffic areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could affect daily operations.
- Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and assisting with security-related response procedures as needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
