Security Officer - Driving Patrols
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout showroom areas, service lanes, parking lots, inventory storage areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, gates, and/or restricted areas, assisting with visitor entry procedures, after-hours access control, and reporting of suspicious behavior or property irregularities.
- Support closing and opening activities by observing premises conditions, checking exterior doors and/or key areas, and notifying appropriate personnel of maintenance, lighting, or security-related issues.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
