About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to support residents and guests with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity every day.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to property management and/or appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and property concerns.
- Monitor access points and community activity to help deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
- Communicate with residents and property representatives regarding routine concerns, service needs, and/or security-related incidents, while preparing clear and accurate activity reports.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
