About the role

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Winnemucca, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour
  • Position Type: Full Time
  • Schedule: Monday 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM, Tuesday 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM, Wednesday 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
