As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Role in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each day.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, and communicate with school personnel and/or first responders when needed.
- Support a positive learning environment by observing and documenting security-related issues, providing directions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and respect.
Qualifications
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour
Schedule: Daytime, Monday through Friday, 07:45 AM - 03:45 PM
