What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, following access control protocols, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help identify security-related concerns and report issues promptly.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated locations within a technology-focused location to help deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions to daily operations.
- Support employee and visitor movement by verifying credentials, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and other site condition concerns that may impact the location.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
