About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Response in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access consistent with site policies, and help to deter unauthorized presence in restricted or operational areas.
• Support daily operations by completing routine reports, observing for equipment or property concerns, and following post orders related to security-related procedures and emergency situations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
