What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or delivery access while following post orders and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
- Support access control and after-hours building operations by verifying authorized access, assisting with directions, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have supervisory experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
