Security Officer Driver Patrol Response

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Assist with opening and closing activities, help manage high-traffic areas, and support orderly operations during busy business hours, deliveries, and/or special events.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
