Security Officer Driver Patrol Response
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a food and beverage environment.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, storage, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions when required, and support visitor, vendor, and/or delivery processing in accordance with location procedures.
- Observe facility operations for security-related issues such as damaged doors, lighting concerns, spills, and/or obstructed pathways, and report findings to appropriate site personnel.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
