Join Allied Universal in a dynamic retail location where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This unarmed role includes driving responsibilities and offers the chance to support day-to-day operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor activity on the property and help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior through visible presence and routine observation.
• Support a positive shopping environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating with local management and/or public responders when needed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
