Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
