Security Officer Driver Patrol Escort

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist visitors and staff with directions and questions, and help to support authorized entry procedures at the location.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to help support order and continuity of operations at the site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
