Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Associate in Warrensville Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Healthcare Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a hospital location, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.   • Day: Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and/or security-related support for restricted or sensitive areas.
  • Support Allied Universal and site personnel during medical-related calls, emergency situations, and/or operational disruptions while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

Minimum Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital location.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • For driving positions only, a valid driver’s license will be required.
