Security Officer Driver Entry Control

About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, conduct routine patrols, and help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, managing visitor and driver entry, and documenting access activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Maintain accurate logs and complete required reports related to visitors, deliveries, access-control activity, and security-related incidents.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
