About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Ingleside, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required access-control documentation while communicating observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Day shift: Monday – Friday, 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
