About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and respond to alarms and other security-related concerns. This role includes conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving post.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify unauthorized access or security-related concerns.
- Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$20.16 / hour
Schedule
- Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
