Security Officer Credential Screening Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Credential Screening Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor entry activity, manage site access, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and document employee, visitor, vendor, and/or driver entry and exit; verify credentials and shipping information; and deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, gates, and loading areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including warehouses, trailer lots, parking areas, and loading docks.
• Prepare routine logs and incident reports related to access activity, deliveries, and/or unusual conditions; report concerns involving security-related procedures or site policies.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.00 / hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
