About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure environment through professional presence, incident reporting, and adherence to site procedures. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
- Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify irregular conditions and support site operations.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and reports, and wear required site-issued protective equipment while performing assigned duties.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$20.25 / hour

- Tuesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
