About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Credential Intake in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Monitor access control systems, alarms, cameras, and other security-related equipment; report malfunctions, unusual activity, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
