Security Officer Driver Credential Desk

About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Credential Desk in Monroe, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. This driving post may include routine patrols, visible presence to help deter incidents, and clear communication during security-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment areas, and/or operational spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, yards, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or conditions that may require reporting.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report access-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
