What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or delivery activity, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Support access control and traffic flow for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, helping operations continue smoothly while following post orders and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
