Security Officer Distribution Center Patrol
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document events according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support daily operations by observing site conditions, communicating clearly with site personnel, and completing required reports related to security-related activities.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

DayTime: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
