What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing drivers, vendors, and personnel according to site requirements
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels as appropriate
• Monitor entry and exit points, shipping and receiving areas, and vehicle traffic to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and designated access points
• Working environments and conditions may vary by client site

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
