As a Security Officer Dispatch with Active Clearance in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor systems, coordinate responses, and support security-related operations through clear communication and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and other communication systems to receive reports, document activity, and dispatch personnel to security-related incidents in a timely manner.
- Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, helping to support situational awareness across the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, while supporting control center and dispatch operations in a dynamic technology-focused environment.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred Qualifications
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
