Security Officer - Dispatch Call Coordinator

About the role

As a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor incoming information, document activity, and support timely responses to alarms and incidents. You will maintain a professional presence, provide exceptional customer service, and help promote a secure environment through clear communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls for service, prioritize requests, and coordinate the response of onsite personnel to incidents and critical situations.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, shift activity reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Use communication systems, cameras, access control platforms, and other site technology to support situational awareness and help coordinate responses.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$23.18 / Hour

• Monday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
