Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Rounds in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while responding to security-related concerns with agility, reliability, and innovation.

• DayTime: Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and help to support authorized entry for personnel, guests, and/or deliveries.
• Observe facility operations and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues that could affect daily business activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
