Security Officer - Digital Credential Records

About the role

As a Security Officer Digital Credential Records in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing badge access, monitoring entry points, and supporting security-related procedures. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, screening visitors, and maintaining visitor and contractor entry records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading docks, trailer yards, warehouse areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and access-control exceptions in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
