Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver
About the role
As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in Columbia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while demonstrating Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, policy violations, and suspicious behavior to appropriate store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Help to deter theft, trespassing, and disruptive conduct through a visible presence and professional interaction with customers and visitors.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Pay & Schedule
Full Time position at $17.00 / Hour. Schedule: Mon 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Fri 05:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sat 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Sun 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM.
