What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-screening requirements.
- Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures, escalating prohibited items, unauthorized access attempts, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
- Operate screening equipment and maintain accurate records of visitor entries, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated screening areas, entry points, business spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
