Security Officer Credential Check

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location in Ontario, CA, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points for a retail distribution location, verifying authorized entry and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 / Hour

• Day shift: Monday–Thursday, 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM
