About the role

As a Security Officer Credential Check in New Century, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a smooth flow of people and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific access procedures, badge verification practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and confirm credentials, delivery paperwork, and/or visitor information before allowing access to the location.
• Maintain detailed access logs, incident documentation, and other required records related to visitors, deliveries, trailers, and/or contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Support security-related operations at a logistics location by observing gate activity, reporting policy violations, and helping with orderly traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
